Leesta Industries was founded in 1964. Its founder, Mr. Staub, first began his work in the basement of his home.

In 1986, after many years of growth, Leesta moved to its present location, a 16,000 square foot building and planned for a 10,000 square foot expansion for 2005. Leesta is equipped with the latest high precision machines including two Makino FMS centres, one with EDM erosion and the other laser.

Since its beginnings, Leesta has excelled by providing exceptional service at all levels. Its reputation is based on 40 years of precision manufacturing and qualified manpower.

Leesta had become a leader in the design and manufacturing of aircraft engines and the assembly of hydraulic and mechanical actuators, with a certified test bed. Leesta is well known for its provision of a hydraulic assembly system for de Havilland's Dash 8. In addition, Leesta possesses and provides proprietary mechanical assemblies for de Havilland.

Leesta Industries ltd has big name clients in the aerospace industry: United States Air Force, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Goodrich Aerospace, Bombardier/de Havilland Inc., etc.
